ATTENTION ATTENTION- PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE MESSAGE BOARD FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND UPDATES The permits office will not be issuing permits or answering phones today, June 11th from 11:30-12:30pm JUNE 19th, 2026- THE PERMITS OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FOR JUNETEENTH. TRAVEL IS PERMITTED. Permits that are not issued prior to 4:30pm on June 18th, will be issued in the order they were received on Monday, June 22nd, 2026. July 4th Holiday THE PERMITS OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 3rd, 2026. Permits that are not issued prior to 4:30pm on July 2nd, will be issued in the order they were received on Monday, July 6th, 2026. TRAVEL IS RESTRICTED FROM NOON, JULY 3RD TO SUNRISE JULY 6TH. IF YOU ARE A NEW CUSTOMER TO THE NEB OVERSIZE AND/OR OVERWEIGHT TRUCK PERMITS YOU WILL NEED TO CLICK THE LINK THAT STATES: "REGISTER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT" ALL PERMITS ARE DONE ONLINE AND THE PERMTS OFFICE WILL NOT DO THEM FOR YOU. NEBRASKA FUEL TRIP PERMITS ARE DONE ON-LINE AT THE NE DMV WEBSITE: DMV.NEBRASKA.GOV/SERVICES Please make sure you are reading ALL of your permit provisions and additional provisions if needed. Additional provisions are ALWAYS on the last page of the issued permit. Permit fees will not be refunded after permit is issued even if it is not used or declared void because of a violation of the terms and conditions of the permit. The accuracy of the information on a permit is the responsibility of the customer/applicant. Only certain permit types can be amended. Permits can be amended only once. The fee for an amendment is $10.00.
